Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (RAI) is an emerging engineering discipline that integrates robotics, intelligent systems, machine learning, automation, control systems, sensors, and advanced computing technologies. This program prepares students to design, develop, and deploy intelligent machines capable of performing tasks autonomously and efficiently.
The RAI field is rapidly expanding due to advancements in automation, Industry 4.0, autonomous vehicles, industrial robots, drone technologies, service robotics, medical robotics, and AI-driven solutions.

Students study robotics fundamentals, kinematics, dynamics, computer vision, machine learning, deep learning, neural networks, autonomous systems, embedded systems, industrial automation, IoT, human-robot interaction, AI ethics, and reinforcement learning.
Students who have passed Class 10 and 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with min. 45 % along with non-zero CET score are eligible for this course.

Overview of Department
Yashoda Technical Campus, under YSPM Group of Institutions, established the Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Department in 2024. It aims to provide cutting-edge technological education and produce future-ready engineers with strong foundations in robotics, automation, and intelligent systems.
Initially starting with an intake of 60, in year 2024–2025 due to increased demand for RAI professionals globally. The department follows university guidelines with the latest CBCS curriculum.
The department is NAAC accredited and affiliated with DBATU. Facilities include advanced robotics labs, embedded systems labs, a seminar hall, Wi-Fi-enabled digital classrooms, and an internal department library.
