Annual sports 2025-26

The Department of Computer Application (BCA) at Yashoda Technical Campus, Satara, celebrated  Annual Sports Day for the academic year 2025–26 from 12th February to 14th February 2026. Students actively participated in both indoor and outdoor games.

Indoor games included chess and carrom, while outdoor games featured kho-kho, kabaddi, cricket, football, and throwball. The event encouraged teamwork, sportsmanship, and physical fitness among students. Overall, it was an energetic and successful celebration.


Parent Meet 2025-26

The Department of Computer Application (BCA) at Yashoda Technical Campus, Satara, organized a Parent-Teacher Meeting on 17th March 2026 to strengthen communication between parents and the institution. Around 30 parents attended and actively participated.

The meeting was welcomed by HOD Dr. Samiksha Nikam, who highlighted the importance of parent involvement in students’ academic progress. The session focused on discussing students’ performance, attendance, and overall development. Individual feedback was provided, and parents were encouraged to support their wards.

An overview of departmental activities for the academic year 2025–26 was also shared. The meeting concluded with an interactive session, making it a successful initiative to build a strong connection between parents and the department.


Cultural Day 2025-26

The Department of Computer Application (BCA) at Yashoda Technical Campus, Satara, actively participated in the Cultural Day held on 27th February 2026. Students enthusiastically took part in various activities, including dance performances and anchoring.

The event provided a great platform for students to showcase their talents and creativity. Their energetic performances and confident hosting made the celebration lively and memorable. Overall, it was a joyful and successful event for BCA students.


Poster Presentation on Environmental Issues

A Poster Presentation on Environmental Issues was organized to raise awareness about various environmental concerns and encourage innovative solutions. Students from different groups presented their posters on critical topics related to the environment. The event featured 12 main groups,and below three group are winners.

Parents Meeting

A Parents' Meeting was held on 9th January to discuss the academic progress and overall development of students. The meeting provided an opportunity for parents to interact with faculty members and get detailed insights into their children's performance, attendance, and future goals. It aimed to strengthen the partnership between parents and the institution, ensuring better support for students in their educational journey. The session was informative, fostering open communication and collaboration for the students' success.


Implementation of वाचन संकल्प महाराष्ट्राचा initiative

वाचन संकल्प महाराष्ट्राचा (Vachan Sankalp Maharashtracha) is an initiative aimed at promoting reading and literacy across Maharashtra. The goal of this program is to encourage  children and youth, to develop the habit of reading and expand their knowledge through books.The initiative encourages students to take a pledge to read more and make reading a regular part of their daily lives. It also focuses on creating awareness about the importance of reading for personal growth, education, and societal development.

This initiative involves various activities like:

  • Organizing reading campaigns and events.
  • Distributing books to students.
  • compitition of students on review writing on any books.

Blood Donation Camp

Blood Donation Camp was held on 11/10/2024 .

A Blood Donation Camp was organized at Yashoda Technical Campus,Satara where students from all departments, including the BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications) department, actively participated. The camp aimed to encourage voluntary blood donation and raise awareness about its importance in saving lives.Students, staff, and faculty members came together to donate blood, contributing to this noble cause. The BCA department students showed great enthusiasm and social responsibility by participating in the camp, reflecting their commitment to community welfare and health.
